Coming Out Poly is the account of three people living in a polyamorous vee. All members of the family are of legal age and are there of their own consent.
Polyamory is a type of open relationship that is much unlike swinging or what the news has villainized lately in the polygamist community. Polyamory is the idea that you can love more than one person in an honest, ethical way that is rewarding for all in the relationship. This doesn't mean that no one ever fights, or gets jealous - those that are polyamorous have just as many issues as those that are monogamous. Polyamory forces you to be honest not only with yourself, but with your partners.
Our relationship style is called a vee, wherein one person is the "hinge" between the other two. Killian is the point of the vee, or hinge, and is married to Nyla and is dating Elle. Nyla and Elle are friends, but aren't romantically involved.
Killian -
Nyla is a bisexual woman in her early 20's. She enjoys collecting books on female sexuality, erotica, and anything tech-related. As she is a self-prescribed geek, you can generally find her at her laptop or mumbling about some bit of code she just fixed a bug in. She recently learned to knit from Elle and has been enjoying that immensely. She currently is not involved in a relationship outside of the one she has with Killian, but is looking forward to a long-term relationship with a woman again.
