Building Things from Scratch

Hello everyone. It's been a busy few weeks with Nyla being gone, Elle being sick, my brother coming into town (this upcoming weekend), and everything needing to be prep-ed for that. So it's slowed down a bit - enough for me to write this rather short post.

Elle and I went to Madison to meet with the MAPS folks for the first time. We had a lively discussion, and we were both very pleased at the end of the night when we left. Overall it was a good experience, and we'll be dragging Nyla along next time - seeing as she'll be in town. We learned some things but mostly we just enjoyed the company of like-minded individuals. We met Karma and Galen, who were at the poly seminar just a few weeks ago. It was good to see them again.

Other than that, I've been working on the back-end of the site, and there should be a bunch of good stuff for everyone in the next few days when Nyla gets a chance to look over things. Also, we'll be adding a calendar, which will most likely mirror the new Google Calendar I just created. If you're interested, just do a search for public calendars for poly. It's in there.

That's about all. I'll be working on some new material soon. Also, once the site is a bit more solid, we'll be posting articles and opinion pieces from some new writers to the site. It'll be good times.
