A friend of mine and I had a good chuckle the other night about some humorous news: after having been poly for quite some time, her parents sent her links to the Poly Web Ring (among other sites) because apparently they've been poly for a while, too. We chuckled; then we kind of raised eyebrows at the fact that her parents are in their 40s, and sometimes we just don't want to think about those kinds of things.
In the process, though, I revisited the web ring, which I haven't done in some time. Somehow the first time I went through it, I didn't pick up on this site: Poly Page for Secondaries. I added to my sidebar because I think it's a good insight into another perspective. I'm a primary; I'm the one who initiated a great deal of where me and Nyla are today. I don't really get to see how Elle feels about things - or even to a certain extent, Jenna. They are kind of on the outside of the relationship, with a very good view inside. So it's nice to get a different perspective for a change.
In other news, things seemed to settle down a bit on the home-front. Through a few mis-communications and misunderstandings, there have been some hard times previously; a great deal of it has been of my doing. So with some due diligence and some hard work, I shall remedy the situation - which I am doing relatively well right now.
Oh, and Nyla and I went to see a Chinese film called "Lust; Caution". It was strange.
